Why this works
How to use this hub
Start with a few simple steps, then pick the guide that fits you. Each quarter focuses on two or three relationships.
Your first steps
Directions for young adults who are new, returning, or just curious.
Meet your leaders
Your bishopric and young adult leaders want to know you. A member of the bishopric meets with each young adult at least once a year.
Join the GroupMe
Your ward’s group chat is where plans happen. The link is on your ward page.
How the guide works
- Pick your guide. Young adults, parents, friends, mentors and ward council each have their own tab in the guide.
- Follow the quarter. Each quarter has a short checklist. Your checks are saved only on this device.
- Use your ward page. Ward leaders can make a free page with events, a GroupMe link and leaders in Ward setup.
- Lift someone. Send a note from Encourage, or find a next step in Get involved.
Why this works
For parents and leaders
- It follows the Church’s own pattern. The ideas line up with the General Handbook: a yearly bishopric visit, ministering to each person, and meaningful callings. See the handbook quotes.
- It is about people, not programs. Feeling loved usually starts when someone reaches out by name. Every checklist item is something one person can do for another.
- It is simple and steady. Only two or three relationships each quarter, so no one is overwhelmed, and the whole year still covers all five.
- It centers on the Savior. Each relationship points back to Him.
